Ukraine demands security guarantees for the time after the end of the war with Russia. It is in the process of developing a security concept, says Selenskyj Stab chief.
According to its own information, Ukraine is working on a security concept for the period after the end of the Russian attack war on its country. “Our teams, especially the military, have already started active work on the military component of the security guarantees,” wrote the chief of staff of the Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj, Andryj Jermak, on the platform X. A plan is also being developed with the necessary measures in the event that Russia would further extend the war.
Jermak had previously coordinated with national security advisors in Germany, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Finland as well as the EU and NATO. Ukraine is ready for every dialogue format about a fair termination of the war, he continued. “The Russians have to either take the necessary steps – or prepare for additional, really painful pressure on the part of the world.” It was agreed with the partners to “coordinate our positions every day”.
