No decision on visas for Afghans – penalty money threatens

Hundreds of Afghans with a recording commitment for Germany are waiting in Pakistan. The Federal Government wants to end the program for endangered Afghans. Several cases end up in court.
In the dispute over the granting of Visa for Afghans to enter Germany, the Federal Republic faces a penalty payment of 10,000 euros. This is due according to a decision by the Berlin Administrative Court, unless an Afghan family is decided within three weeks, as a court spokeswoman said at the request of the German Press Agency.
The only thing that is about a decision is made – not whether it fails in favor or the disadvantage of those affected. The Federal Foreign Office was initially not available for a statement. The “world” had previously reported on the threat of coercive money. (Az.: VG 7 M 229/25 V)
The background is the dispute over the federal recording program for particularly endangered Afghans. In the present case, the Federal Government’s commitment to the parents of six children, two of them are of legal age. According to the court decision, the family is waiting for Visa in Pakistan.
