The criticism of Israel’s procedure in Gaza is increasing. Controversial terms are sometimes used. The most recent example: the Spanish Hollywood star Javier Bardem.
Hollywood star Javier Bardem has sharply criticized Israel’s military action in the Gaza Strip-and made a controversial comparison with Nazi Germany. “The IDF (Israeli defense forces) are Nazis,” wrote the Spanish actor in a contribution on Instagram.
Filmstar Bardem (56) referred to the concentration camp commander Amon Göth played by Ralph Fiennes in “Schindler’s list”: “A sadistic SS officer who shot prisoners from his balcony alone.
“The same logic of terror and dehumanization”
Bardem, who received an Oscar for “No Country for Old Men” in 2008, with the following statement: “Today it is the same logic of terror and dehumanism that the IDF use against the Palestinian people.”
Israel’s army always emphasizes that she is only against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip and try to protect the civilian population. However, there are always reports of civilians from the area who are killed in the military attacks.
The Hamas does not mention Bardem
The Gaza War triggered the Hamas massacre and other Palestinian terrorists in Israel on October 7, 2023. Bardem did not mention the Hamas terrorism.
It is not the first time that the husband of the Spanish star actress Penélope Cruz attacks the Israeli army and the government of Israel because of her procedure in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank. There was initially no statement from Israel on the latest statements.
In the major attack on October 7, 2023, around 1,200 people murdered in Israel and dragged more than 250 into the Gaza Strip.
Since the beginning of the Gaza War, more than 62,000 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip, according to the health authority controlled by the Hamas. UN organizations rate the number as largely credible.
