In the affair The US government tries to put pressure from President Donald Trump’s pressure. Does the survey protocols from Ghislaine Maxwell help?
In the affair about the sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the US Ministry of Justice has published transcripts and records of the survey of Epstein’s former complicity Ghislaine Maxwell. “Apart from the names of the victims, every word is contained,” said Deputy Minister of Justice Todd Blanche on Friday in the online service X. “Nothing was hidden,” explained Blanche, who had made the survey. This is done “in the interest of transparency”.
After the survey at the end of July, Maxwell’s lawyer had said that his client answered all questions asked in a courthouse in Tallahassee in the US state of Florida during the meeting. Blanche used to be a personal lawyer of US President Donald Trump.
Maxwell was convicted of Epstein as a member of a sex trade ring in 2021 and initially served her 20-year prison sentence in Florida. A week after the survey, the 63-year-old was moved to a prison with much more pleasant terms of detention after Texas.

Trump also left Trump unanswered questions about his own, earlier close relationship with Epstein. Maxwell’s survey was another step in the effort of the Trump government to appease the angry trailers. On Friday, according to the Republican Congressman James Comer, documents were also forwarded to the Epstein case to a committee in the House of Representatives. He did not provide information on the content.
