The government did too little against anti-Semitism, US ambassador Kushner Kushner France’s President Macron. Now the diplomat has to justify itself for its choice of words.
France has ordered US ambassador Charles Kushner today for a letter to French President Emmanuel Macron for anti-Semitic incidents in the country. In the letter, Kushner expressed his “concern about the increase in anti -Semitic acts in France and pointed out an alleged failure of the French authorities in combating these actions,” said the French Foreign Ministry on Sunday evening.
“The allegations are unacceptable,” it said. The increase in anti -Semitic incidents in France has been regretted since October 7, 2023. The French authorities would proceed against it, the Ministry said. The ambassador’s allegations would violate the duty of international law not to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.
