“Söder Kebab”
CSU boss with everything and sharp-Söder now has its own kebab brand

As is well known, Markus Söder likes to eat – especially on social media. Now Bavaria’s prime minister has even registered his own kebab brand.

Because of the Bavaria, you only eat liver cheese, white sausage and breadcrumbs: CSU boss Markus Söder also likes to make culinary excursions. The Doner in particular was impressed by the Bavarian father. Probably so much that he now even has his own Söder brand. Under the file number 3020240083754 the “Söder Kebab” brand was officially at the registered. Both the word combination and a drawn picture of Söder as a kebab man are now legally protected.

When looking at his social media channels, you can get doubts as to whether Söder is actually still a politician or long ago food blogger. Burger at McDonald’s, Nuremberg rustbratwurst with sauerkraut or kebab (with everything!): The CSU boss takes his hashtag #. But does the registration of his kebab brand now mean that he is completely retrofitting for culinary delights? Probably not. When looking at the register information of the brand and patent office, it becomes clear: not Söder as a private individual, but a subsidiary of his party registered the brand- and even almost a year ago. Now the authority’s examination has apparently been completed and the CSU and its chairman can also officially advertise with the brand.

For Söder, this should primarily be a marketing gag. Already last year he raffled off a “fan meeting” in a kebab shop. At the CSU party conference in October 2024, the Kebab was also on the menu. And even then: A sign that advertised the “Söder Kebab”.

Will the gastronomy for Markus Söder actually become a second mainstay?

Since the brand has been officially registered, the CSU has been offering the “Kebab Maggus” in its own shop Merchandise. T-shirts cost 19.99 euros, sweaters are available for 35.99 euros. And that could only be the beginning: According to the brand and patent office, the brand owner can also Make and sell printing products, flyers and stickers.

But the gastronomy could actually become a second mainstay for Söder. Because when registering, not only marketing and advertising service were protected, but actually also meat and meat products. Should it be with the political career of the CSU-The bosses unexpectedly go downhill -maybe you will soon hear from a tall franc behind a counter: “Servus, boss! Kebab with everything and sharp?”
