The Arab television station Al-Jasira reported that a cameraman from the station was fatally hit. It was initially unclear which medium the fourth killed journalist worked for. Israel initiates the incident




The Israeli army announced that there had been an attack in the area of ​​the Nasser Hospital. General chief of staff Ejal Zamir ordered a quick preliminary examination of the incident. The army regretted it if uninvolved people were harmed. The troops were not intentionally aimed at journalists, it said.


Eyewitnesses reported that there was an attack on the fourth floor in the reception building of the Nasser Hospital, in which the journalists were. The Arabic broadcaster Al-Ghad showed a video in which it was seen how a group of people was hit in an attack. It was apparently the second attack.
