Once again, photos show a blue spot on the hand of Donald Trump. For days, speculation about the state of health of the US President triggers.
US President Donald Trump has once again been photographed with a bruise on the hand. A clear blue spot was seen on pictures of the reception of South Korean President Lee Jae Jae Myung in the White House in the right hand of the 79-year-old.
In the past, bruises on Trump’s right hand had been noticed several times – partly apparently with make -up. At the weekend, the US portal “Daily Beast” also reported on recordings of the president when playing golf, on which a corresponding discoloration should also be recognized on his left hand.
In the past few months, the spots had repeatedly triggered speculation about the Republican’s state of health – in addition, his legs sometimes seemed swollen. Trump himself explained a bruise on his right hand in December 2024 in conversation with the US magazine “Time” with the fact that he just shakes a lot of hands.
Donald Trump suffers from chronic venous insufficiency
In July, his spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt also referred to frequent shaking hands and taking aspirin. Similarly, she now commented on the “Huffington Post”. In addition, the White House announced in July, Trump suffered from a chronic venous insufficiency – a harmless disease of the leg veins, which occurs especially in older people.
In the United States, there is one of the peculiarities of politics that presidents regularly provide public information about their state of health – not because it would be prescribed by law, but because it has developed into a ritual over the years that hardly any incumbent can escape.
