According to Ukrainian military analysts, Russian troops entered the Dnipropetrovsk area. The experts at the Saepstate Supplementary Service marked the towns of Saporiske and Novoheorhijiwka in the region as Russian. For weeks, Moscow has spoken of having penetrated the area west of Donetsk. The Ukrainian army continues to deny this information.

“The armed forces of Ukraine have stopped the advancement of the Russian conquerors and continue to control the village of Saporiske,” said the “Dnipro” army group responsible for the front section on Telegram. The fights for the neighboring hamlet of Nowohijiwka would continue. “The information about the crew of both towns by the Russians does not correspond to the facts,” was underlined in the message.

War veterans and active soldiers, on the other hand, criticize more and more that commanders write beautiful management reports and that the army leadership does not always know the real situation.

Russian troops are coming in the south

Russian troops have been on the rise in the east of Ukraine for months. In the south of the Donetsk region, they have now moved up to the area boundaries. There are also the two places taken. However, there are no strategically important cities in this rural steppe landscape.
