Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: Dispute over posts in his authority

Obviously there is a dispute between Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Susan Monarez, as head of the center for disease control and prevention (CDC) responsible, among other things, will not withdraw, among other things, her lawyers said on platform X.

They reacted directly to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, according to which Monarez was no longer director of the authority. The reasons for the step were not mentioned. Monarez has only held the position for a few weeks.

The lawyers indicated that it was about layoffs. When Monarez refused to relieve health experts, she was targeting herself. She had neither terminated nor received a message from the White House.

The lawyers also spoke of the fact that Kennedy Jr. and his ministry had set itself the goal of exploiting public health for political purposes and thus endangering millions of American life.

The “New York Times” reported that the conflict had become public at a time when four high-ranking CDC officials had apparently terminated from frustration about vaccination policy and Kennedy’s leadership style. Monarez and the Minister disagree with vaccination policy – this was reported by the US newspaper, citing a government official familiar with the events.

Kennedy is repeatedly accused of spreading doubts about vaccinations and in particular to have hiked the vaccination campaign against measles. In the past, he also represented the thesis, vaccinations called out autism. This rumor is scientifically refuted. Kennedy himself does not want to be understood as an opponent of vaccination.
