Selenskyj demands pressure on Russia from China

The Russian drone and rocket strokes are Moscow’s answer to the ceasefire that has been required for weeks and months and the views of real diplomacy, criticized Selenskyj. Russia explains that part of the world blindly faces if children are killed.

With a view of the China journey by Kremlinir Putin, which was multi-day China on Sunday, Selenskyj Beijing asked for a reaction to the Russian attacks. China had repeatedly called up not to expand the war and hire the fighting. He also asked Hungary and other countries to break their silence.

It is time for new sanctions against Russia that let all deadlines pass and ruined dozens of diplomatic initiatives, said Selenskyj. Moscow had to be held responsible for every blow.

Ukraine sends negotiators to the USA

Meanwhile, Selenskyj sent his chief negotiators to talks about security guarantees for his country attacked by Russia to the United States. Presidential office chief Andrij Jermak and ex-defense minister Rustem Umjerow are to speak to representatives of the government of US President Donald Trump on Friday in New York, as he announced in Kiev. On the part of the Americans, Trump’s negotiator Steve Witkoff confirmed the meeting.

“Anyone who works on the security guarantees – on the military, political and economic components of the security guarantees – are included,” said Selenskyj in an evening video address. “The Russians have to see how serious the world is and how bad the consequences for Russia will be when the war continues.”

Talks about security guarantees

The security guarantees are about protecting Ukraine from the end of the war from a rebuilding of Russian aggression. The United States is planning to participate, but the main military burden should be with the Europeans. Russia has so far strictly rejected troops from NATO countries in Ukraine.

According to Selenskyjs, possible places for a meeting with Kremlin chief Putin are also to be explored. The Ukrainian representatives were visited in the Gulf state of Qatar on Tuesday, on Wednesday in Saudi Arabia. Talks in Switzerland were planned for Thursday. Putin, however, only wants to speak to a representative of Ukraine if there is a fully negotiated solution for an end to the war.

Russia has been waging his war of aggression against Ukraine for more than three and a half years.

Ukraine attacks two refineries in Russia

The Ukraine continued its defensive fight with drone attacks in Russia. Two other oil refineries were hit at night: one in the southern Russian area Krasnodar, one in the Samara Volgage area. There was no information on the extent of the damage. The Ukrainian general staff took responsibility for both attacks.

Ukraine keeps leading strokes against the oil and gas industry in Russia. According to media reports, drone hits on refineries lost up to 17 percent of the capacity of oil processing. There is a lack of fuel in many regions. The gasoline prices have increased massively.
