Liebich does not take care of – searches

Right-wing extremist Marla-Svenja Liebich was to take her detention in the Chemnitz women’s prison until 6 p.m. But she didn’t come. Now you are looking for her.

The convicted right-wing extremist Marla-Svenja Liebich has not started her prison in the Chemnitz women’s prison, and she is now being searched for. “Ms. Liebich was invited to the start of prison at 6 p.m.,” said chief prosecutor Dennis Cernota in the late evening of the German Press Agency. However, she did not face it. An enforcement recruitment command is now ongoing against Liebich. Cernota did not want to provide any information about the details of the search measures.

Liebich had announced the start of prison himself

Liebich was convicted of a total of 18 months without probation in July 2023 due to sedition, bad recovery and insult – at that time as Sven Liebich. Liebich had announced via platform X to be in prison on Friday evening at 10 p.m. Before that, she wanted to be available for interviews.

In addition to journalists, demonstrators had also gathered in front of the correctional facility in Chemnitz. According to the police, at least 60 people came. According to the police, the splitter party Freie Sachsen had registered the meeting.

Rally in front of prison – audio file played

According to the officials, an audio file was also played during the rally. A spokesman stated that she is “presumably from the person who wanted to take care of today”. The latter announced that she “feels not free, put it into a third country,” said the police spokesman. As a result, both the assembly and the police operation were ended.

In a post on platform X, which was discontinued under the name Liebichs, it said in the evening: “The feat of a magic trick: all eyes are directed onto the scenery while the object disappears in the shade. Nobody knew about my decision – no lawyer. What follows? An international arrest warrant.”

Case ensures discussion in the Bundestag

The Liebich case had recently released the debate about the new self -determination law. With the law that came into force in November 2024, which replaced the former Transsexual Act, changes to the gender entry and the first name were significantly facilitated.

Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) accused Liebich’s abuse of the new regulations and called for changes to the law. “The gender change seems to be clearly an abuse of abuse here,” he told the news portal “ZDFHeute.de”.
