Rows of Russian fight drones fly over Ukraine again. Russian cruise missiles should also be on the road.
The Russian military again attacked Ukraine with drone swarms at night. The Ukrainian Air Force said well over 100 fight drones. Occasionally, the Ukrainian air defense was already in action. Explosions could be heard at Tscherkassy and Tschernyhyw. Several explosions were also registered in Kyiv. It was unclear whether they were due to the air defense or impact.
A company building was met in Saporischschja and set fire to the regional military administrator Iwan Fedorow on Telegram. “For the time being, no victims were reported,” he added.
Ukrainian media meanwhile warned the population of possible air strikes of Russian fighter bombers. According to the knowledge of the air defense, six strategic bombers have risen from Russian airports to possibly attack Ukraine with rockets. Shortly afterwards it was said that the bombers had fired several cruise missiles.
Russia had attacked the Ukrainian capital Kiev on Thursday night with fight drones and rockets. According to the latest official information, at least 25 people were killed in the attack, one of the heaviest in three and a half years.
