In the course of an anti-war march through the city center of Cologne, violent clashes between the police and demonstrators occurred. The assembly of the alliance “Rheinmetall disarmed” was stopped in the evening after attacks on civil servants and repeated violations of the right of assembly, the police said. A spokesman for the demonstrators also spoke of injuries.
