How can you continue after a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip? A US newspaper reports on a plan with which the worst fears of the people in Gaza could come true.
According to a media report, the US government should consider taking over the Gaza Strip and relocating the population there. As the US newspaper “Washington Post” further reported, the Gaza Strip is to be placed under a trust company managed by the USA for at least ten years. The sheet referred to a 38 -page brochure that circulates in the government.
The two million inhabitants should either be moved to another country or brought into closed zones within the coastal strip.
Public and private investments in so -called mega projects are intended to create factories for electric vehicles, data centers, beach resorts and high -rise buildings for living, according to the “Washington Post”.
Every Palestinian who is ready to leave the Gaza Strip should be $ 5,000 (around 4,280 euros), and received food for a year, it said.
The plan is said to be Great Trust (Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust), according to the “Washington Post”. He is based on the ideas of the US President already presented in February to transform the Gaza Strip into a “Riviera of the Middle East”.
At that time, Trump’s advance caused an international outcry and a lot of criticism. According to experts, the Palestinian’s displacement from the Gaza Strip violates international law. Critics also state that mass relocations to other countries in the region are a destabilizing factor and a security risk for the Middle East. Other critics expressed doubts about the financing and implementation.
