After the murder of Ukrainian ex-parliamentary president: suspect
Shortly after the fatal shots on the former Ukrainian parliamentary president Andrij Parubij, the authorities announced a success. Russian state media reported that Parubij was on a search list of the authorities in Russia since 2023.
Parubij was Parliament President of Ukraine from 2016 to 2019 and previously served as chairman of the security council for a few months. The historian studied for the independence of Ukraine had already campaigned for Soviet pages. It was considered one of the leading figures in the great pro-European movements of recent Ukrainian history: the Maidan revolution of 2014 and the orange revolution in 2004.
