In the Ukraine crisis, the worst fears have come true: Russia has launched a major attack on Ukraine. Explosions were heard in the capital Kiev and several other cities on Thursday morning, AFP journalists reported. According to the Ukrainian border guard, Russian ground forces entered Ukraine from several directions, including Belarus.
