The war in Ukraine has lasted more than three and a half years. Again and again civilians also fall victim to the fights. Now an attack meets old people who were pensioned for their pension.
According to the authorities from Kiev, more than 20 civilians in the east of Ukraine were killed in a Russian attack. People had been pensioned after their pension, when the controlled aviation bomb had taken, the Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj wrote on Telegram. He called for a sharp reaction from the international community.
The military governor Wadym Filaschkin used by Kyiv wrote of 21 dead and just as many injuries. The number of victims could continue to rise. The rescue workers are still in action, wrote Filaschkin. He called on the residents for evacuation. You should flee to safer regions.
Bombing of the front of the front
The incident occurred in the village of Jarowa, north of the Slowjansk and Kramatorsk metropolitan area held by Ukrainian troops. Jarowa is located on the Siorskyj Donez river near the front. The Russian troops are only a few kilometers away in the area. The goal of the Russian offensive there is the nearby city of Lyman.
Numerous corpses can be seen on the video published by Selenskyj. Uniformed people are not among the victims shown. People are said to have waited for their pension. In the east of Ukraine, the infrastructure – like banks – is destroyed in many places, so that the pensioners have to pick up the money personally in cash.
“Under no circumstances should Russia’s strikes be allowed to remain without a corresponding reaction in the world,” wrote the President. Russia will continue to kill if he is not stopped. Selenskyj explicitly also turned to the United States with the demand for sharper sanctions.
So far, placement of Trump was unsuccessful
In contrast to his predecessor Joe Biden, US President Donald Trump sees himself as an intermediary in the conflict. However, despite attempts at arbitration since March and even a meeting between Trump and Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin, the prospects for a peaceful solution in the Ukraine War are cloudy. Putin has rejected demands for unconditional ceasefire.
He also combined a meeting with Selenskyj about the termination of the war with claims. So the Ukrainian should come to Moscow if he wanted to talk to him. Moscow calls for the NATO accession from Ukraine and the task of several areas, including the Donetsk area, where the bomb has now been taken. Moscow justifies his war with the protection of the population living there.
Russia has been waging a war against Ukraine for more than three and a half years. Most recently, the Russian army has reinforced air strikes and uses hundreds of drones as well as rockets and marching missiles. The Ukraine has hardly any defense against the aviator bombs, which are thrown close to the front by Russian jets in their own airspace. Your Air Force has too few aircraft to risk air struggles.
