In recent years, dozens of diving cruise ships have dropped, burned out, exploded all over the world. Many in Southeast Asia, where the underwater world is particularly rich and colorful. But nowhere as many as before Egypt’s coasts.

A reporter team of star And RTL reconstructed the “Sea Story” accident in a month -long research, including its background. Three hidden reporters have temporarily researched undercover in Egypt, camouflaged as a diving instructor or investor. Among other things, they have succeeded in obtaining more than 600 pages of the Egyptian investigators, which the regime has so far kept under closure.
What the investigators found out suggests why the authorities treat the files almost like a state secret.
