Reul: Has the suspicious further knife attack committed?

The suspect 17-year-old student, who is said to have seriously injured a teacher in Essen last Friday, could be suspected for another attempted homicide on the same day. This was said by the North Rhine-Westphalian Interior Minister Herbert Reul (CDU) in the specialist committee of the NRW state parliament.
On Friday, a homeless person with a knife was attacked in the city center of Essen. In this case, too, the investigators are based on attempted killing. The attack on the 45-year-old teacher was not the only attempted homicide that day.
One should not draw any hasty conclusions, emphasized Reul. But two acts of violence with a knife on the same day and in the same city are a fact. “The thoughtfulness is increased at this point.” A warrant was taken against the young people seriously injured in his arrest, he is treated and guarded in a hospital.
