The Huthi militia in Yemen keeps attacking Israel with drones and rockets. The sirens howl again in Tel Aviv and other places in the country.
A rocket fired from Yemen has triggered alarm in several areas of Israel. In the coastal metropolis of Tel Aviv and other locations, people hurried into shelter at night. The army then announced that a floor from Yemen had been intercepted by the rocket defense. There were initially no reports on injured or greater damage. It was only in the days before that Israeli air defense was activated due to attacks with drones and a rocket from Yemen.
Since the beginning of the war between Israel and Islamist Hamas in the Gaza Strip in October 2023, the Huthi Israel has repeatedly attacked with rockets and drones – according to their own statements as an expression of their solidarity with Hamas. The militia supported by Iran also often aims at the Ben Gurion airports at Tel Aviv and Ramon in the south of the country. In return, Israel attacks destinations in Yemen, 2,000 kilometers away, which claims to be related to the Huthi military activities.
In the recent attack by the Israeli Air Force in Yemen, at least 35 people were killed on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Health controlled by the Huthi. At the end of August, the Prime Minister of Huthi and several Minister of Israel were also killed.
