12,000 people at Gaza demonstration in Berlin
Thousands take to the streets in Berlin, demand an end to the “genocide in Gaza”. The initiator is, among other things, BSW politician Sahra Wagenknecht.
According to the police estimates, around 12,000 people have stopped at a rally entitled in Gaza “At the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. The organizers spoke of 20,000 participants. The event in the government district ended around 4:30 p.m. and was mostly trouble -free, as a police spokeswoman said.
An alliance around the BSW politician Sahra Wagenknecht, the actor Dieter Hallervorden and the rapper Massiv had called for the rally against the Israeli approach in the Gaza War.

According to Palestinian information, more than 64,600 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war, with not a distinction between fighters and civilians. Israel rejects the accusation of genocide and emphasizes the fight against the terrorist militia. Large parts of the densely populated coastal strip were destroyed by Israel.
1,000 police officers in Demos in action
The GAZA demonstration in the government district was also generally directed against arms deliveries in war zones and against more armor in Germany. It is required that the Federal Government should work for peace negotiations and a two-state solution in the Middle East and for diplomacy in the Ukraine War.
The police are on Saturday because of this and other demos in Berlin with around 1,000 forces, as a spokesman said.
