Skin cancer has been found in the former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. The treating doctor Claudio Birolini said two skin cancer that were removed during an operation on Sunday and would now have to be monitored regularly. “It is neither the mildest nor the most aggressive form, but it is still a form of skin cancer,” he said.
Bolsonaro had been taken to the hospital again on Tuesday due to nausea, dizziness and low blood pressure and spent one night there. During the examination, there were still traces of recent pneumonia. The 70-year-old was able to leave the clinic on Wednesday.
Bolsonaro sentenced to more than 27 years in prison
Bolsonaro recently had to be medically supplied several times due to the late consequences of a stabbar attack during the 2018 election campaign. The ex-president is currently under house arrest. Last week he was sentenced to more than 27 years in prison – for his role in a coup attempt after his election defeat against his left successor Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
