An absurd assumption is driven even absurd flowers: Brigitte Macron complains against an influencer who claims that Macron is trans – and now even wants to provide evidence.

In the legal dispute of French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte with the right US influencer Candace Owens for defamation, photos of Brigitte could be shown in court. “These are all materials that we intend to present in court so that everyone can see it,” said Macron lawyer Tom Clare in the BBC podcast “Fame Under Fire”. Clare had previously been asked for photos that Brigitte showed pregnant or when she was raising her children.

The French President couple complains in the US state of Delaware against Owen’s claim that Brigitte Macron was born as a man. The French accuse her of knowingly spreading false claims. In court documents, it said that she reacted with further falsehoods to the macron’s applications to withdraw content. For example, she said that Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron were related.

Dispute between Brigitte Macron and Candace Owens has been smoldering for a long time

The macrons were victims of a “global humiliation campaign” through these claims, which is “invasive, dehumanism and deeply unfair”, the lawsuit, which includes 22 charges. Owens recorded her statements after the lawsuit became known.

In addition to the statements by Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron, the procedure should also have a scientific expert opinion, said lawyer Clare. The lawyer did not address exactly how this will look. “Of course, it is incredibly intrusive for this family to go to court and present this evidence,” the lawyer commented. However, the lawsuit was not submitted lightly, but was completely thought out.

The 36 -year -old influencer Owens has a large reach in right circles: she has 5 million subscribers on YouTube and around 7 million on the platform X. 2024, the Australian government denied the entry and referred to the spread of false claims over the Holocaust or Muslims.
