CSU boss Söder comments on his daughter’s gaps in knowledge

Bavaria’s Prime Minister Markus Söder sees the previous knowledge gaps in his daughter Gloria-Sophie Burkandt on politicians on TV. “So I am always glad that she knows who Bavarian Prime Minister is. I think that is the most important thing,” said the CSU boss on the sidelines of the “Bild100” event in Berlin.
In the third episode of the show “Germany’s Dümmster Celebrity”, Burkandt had not recognized long-term Chancellor Helmut Kohl (CDU) nor the first chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Konrad Adenauer (CDU).
Söder: “She likes to do that there”
Participation in the show is your thing, said Söder. “She likes to do that and she obviously likes it”. He fears that his daughter would also be quite in the mainstream in Germany with this knowledge. “Not everyone who always talkes about it knows everything.”
Burkandt said to a photo of Kohl, who was a chancellor from 1982 to 1998: “This is a man who was very important for Germany, I definitely know that”. However, she thought he was a social democrat. The name was also missing from a photo of Adenauer.
