The temporary relationship between Elon Musk and Donald Trump was broken. But the loss of a common friend apparently welds together.
The reunion with the ex can be uncomfortable. Especially when a war war followed the relationship.
The fact that tech billionaire Elon Musk and US President Donald Trump would come together again after their turbulent was probably just a matter of time-for business reasons alone, they cannot do without each other.
In any case, the funeral service for the common friend and/or well-known Charlie Kirk on Sunday offered the two ex-best friends the perfect framework for the public approach.

Elon Musk tweeted from Kirk’s funeral service
Musk had come as one of tens of thousands of conservatives in Glendale in the US state of Arizona to have the last honor in the local football stadium. Kirk was shot on September 10 at an event on the university site in Orem, Utah. The alleged perpetrator, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, threatens the death penalty.
X-majority owner Musk documented his presence at the funeral service with numerous posts on his platform: a camera swing through the fully occupied arena, retweets of his alleged two-waycounts, in which he praised Kirk as “man of ideas” as someone, “who believed in dialogue and open debates”. In a brief interview, he says with a weighty expression, over a loud bagpipes: “He was killed because his words made a difference because he showed the light. And he was killed by the dark”.
But probably the most effective digital postcard: a poorly resolved photo on which he sits to Donald Trump’s left. Formed their hands into a kind of Merkel-Raute, they are deepened into a conversation. The heading: “for Charlie”. The .

Trump knocks Musk on the knee paternally
What the two discussed together and whether the chat was planned in advance is unclear. On a clip spread by TV broadcaster Fox News, you can see how Musk sits next to Trump. At that time he has talked to his friend and consultant Dana White, the President of the UFC martial arts association.
Trump is surprised when he notices Musk, but immediately shakes his hand and makes him known again with White. After that, Trump knocks on the right knee to the 440 billion dollar entrepreneur and begins a small talk, at least to judge the gestures. Musk smiles and nods, his attitude for him typically tensed.
Two rose warriors
It remains to be seen whether that was the great reconciliation or just the first step on the way to a healthy work relationship. After the violent up and down between the most powerful and the richest man in the world, the encouragement seemed surprisingly grown up.
Musk had only brought Trump to the White House with a $ 250 million election campaign donation and then served him as a top consultant and chief saver in the early days. Musk did not give away his president for months, even brought his son to the Oval Office several times.
In the end, the friendship presumably stopped money. Finally, the first cracks in the Bromance became visible when Trump came out with his customs hammer and thus also threatened to smash foreign business foreign business. A little later, Musk Trump’s law on tax relief, which, among other things, provided for the reduction of subsidies for electric cars, called “purest hideousness”. Shortly thereafter, he threw his job as a state spending cutter. As a result, the dispute escalated, the two wished online a lot of bad things. A half -cooked apology from Musk later it became quiet around the two – until now.
