Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok? Not for Angela Merkel
Former Chancellor Angela Merkel stays away from social media. She prefers to find out more about newspapers and TV. But she maintains an online channel.
Former Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) does not use social media. “I myself find out about newspapers, TV programs and read online media,” said the 71-year-old of the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung”, according to the preliminary signing on Monday.
The social media, on the other hand, are not “my source of information”. She is also “not active on X or Tikk or Instagram,” added Merkel.
