Before the US authority responsible for deportations, ICE will shed up shots. The question of the motif could clarify found cartridges. For Trump it is already clear who is to blame.
At least one person has been killed in shots before an establishment of the US authority ICE in Dallas responsible for deportations. The Ministry of Homeland Protection said that a shooter opened the fire from a neighboring roof and also shot a van in the security area. Three prisoners were met, one of them was killed. The US government moved the crime close to a “radical left”.
Minister of Homeland Protection Kristi Noem said on the platform X that the suspicious shooter was also no longer alive. He died as a result of a self -inflicted gunshot wound. The police received an emergency call early Wednesday morning at around 6.40 a.m. (local time).
The exact background of the shots initially remained unclear. However, the head of the US federal police FBI, Kash Patel, suggested that it could have been a politically motivated act against the work of the immigration authority. On X he published a picture of cartridges on which “Anti Ice” could be read. According to him, officials from the authority were not injured in the crime. Already in July there was an attack on another ICE prison for migrants in the state of Texas, said Patel.
The incident in the south of the United States falls into a churned time. Raids, partly with the immigration authority ICE as a result of the stricter migration and deportation policy of US President Donald Trump have triggered protests in many places.
US President Donald Trump wrote Truth Social, threats, violence and attacks by “disturbed radical left” on his mouthpiece – without providing specific evidence. This violence is the result that radical left-wing democrats demonized the law enforcement authorities, demanded the abolition of ICE and compared ICE officials with “Nazis”.
Vice President JD Vance spoke of a “violent left-wing extremist” who committed the crime. He also did not present clear evidence of this at first. He also accused the Democrats and left -wing media of fueling negative mood against ICE. Minister Noem wrote: “These shots must be a wake -up call to the extreme left that her rhetoric has consequences about ICE.” The minister continued: Ice day out with the “Nazi Gestapo”, among other things, have consequences.
For weeks, the USA has been agitated by the fatal attack on the right-wing Trump allied and activists Charlie Kirk. Since then, the US government had blamed a rhetoric of the “radical left” – and, in the opinion of critics, blinds the broader problem of increasing radicalization in the country.
The Republican Senator Ted Cruz from Texas said after the incident in Dallas: “That has to stop.” His appeal was aimed at politicians who “demonized” ICE. “We have to learn to work together without demonizing the other without attacking.”
