Despite the unabated struggles between Russians and Ukrainians, civilians continue to go out not far from the front line. Russian attacks fell victim to half a dozen people.
At least five civilians were killed in Russian attacks in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk. Four of them died in Kostjantyniwka and a person in Olexijewo-Druschkiwka, said Governor Wadym Filaschkin near Telegram. Another 17 civilians were injured over the past day. Kostjantyniwka was once more bombed by the authorities the day before. The front line runs just a few kilometers from the city limits.
In the meantime, two other people died in the South Ukrainian area of Cherson as a result of Russian drone attacks. The two men were, according to the Beryslaw district, on a street when the drones attacked. The attack took place on Monday.
Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian invasion for more than three and a half years.
