The US President posted that US intelligence agencies had confirmed that the boat “transported drugs along a well-known drug trade route” “to poison Americans”. In this attack, “three male narcoterrorists” were killed on board the boat. US soldiers were not injured.
Venezuela’s Attorney General Tarek William Saab described the latest US attack as “use of rockets and nuclear weapons for the murder of defenseless fishermen on a small boat”. He spoke of “crimes against humanity that should be examined by the UN”. Venezuela’s Minister of Defense Padrino López then accused the United States to wage a “unused war” against his country. In this, people, “whether they are drug dealers or not, were executed in the Caribbean,” said Padrino López.
He also commented on the end of a military exercise on the island of La Orchila. With the three-day training session, Venezuela claimed to be sent to the sending of the US warships into international waters off the Venezuela coast. The United States had justified this measure with the fight against drug cartels. In addition, the US army moved fighter jets to the US outside Puerto Rico.
“Extrajuid executions”
Before the most recent attack, the North American warships had already attacked three Venezuelan boats in the Caribbean in September. Accordingly, 14 alleged drug smugglers were killed. According to Trump, one of the boats belonged to the Venezuelan drug gang tren de Aragua.

The greatest commitment of the US Navy in Caribbean In decades, speculation has stoked that the United States could plan an attack on Venezuelan territory.
Against this background, Maduro announced new military exercises for civilians. Soldiers would be sent to the workers’ district to “teach the residents to deal with weapons,” he said. Because of the tense situation with the United States, Maduro had already called for shooting exercises two weeks ago, militia and young Venezuelans.
Venezuela broke off diplomatic relationships with the United States in 2019 after the United States, as well as numerous other states of Maduro, had not recognized the election victory at the time.
