Last week, drones caused unrest in Danish airspace. Now they also disturb the in Norway.
According to media reports, several flights have been redirected due to alleged drone sightings in Norway. The airport was therefore temporarily closed.
According to reports on Sunday, the province of Northland, further south of drones within the restricted zone at Brønnnøysund Airport, had already been spotted on Sunday. In this case too, a flight was redirected, NRK reported, citing the airport operator Avinor. The possible origin of the drones was initially still unclear.

The background is the EU summit that takes place in Copenhagen this week, as the Ministry of Transport announced. From Monday, all civilian drone flights are prohibited in Denmark.
