UN General Secretary António Guterres said, according to a message that he was “encouraged” of the explanation of Hamas, in which she had expressed her willingness to release hostages and commitment on the basis of the recent Trump proposal. He asked all parties to take the opportunity to end the “tragic conflict” in the Gaza Strip.
