Ukraine War: Russia attacks Ukraine again with rockets

The Russian army once again covered Ukraine with drone swarms and marching aircraft during the night. Knocked aircraft bombs and rockets were also used. There was air alarm throughout the country. Nationwide, explosions echoed through the night, partly of the drones, partly caused by the floors of the air defense.

In the late evening, the first swarms of drone appeared in the sky above the east and south of Ukraine, as the Air Force announced. As early as the approach, the air defense targeted the unmanned missiles and shot 73 fight drones.

The first drone attacks were then reported from the big city of Saporischchja. The city on the Dnipro came into a combined attack by drones and fighter aircraft in the early morning, as the regional military administrator Iwan Fedorow reported on Telegram.

According to his words, at least ten fight drones and directed aircraft bombs hit the city. A person died, at least eight other residents were injured. In some districts, the supply of water and electricity failed.

In the early morning, the Russian Air Force also used marching missiles against destinations in Ukraine, as the Air Force leadership in Kiev announced. Hours earlier, “Kalibr” had started with “Kalibr” type Tupolew Tu-95 in Murmansk in northern Russia to start the cruise missiles later over the Black Sea.

At the same time, Russian MIG-31 rush jets intervened in the attack, as the air defense announced. They fired several “Kinschal” (dagger) hyperschallrakets against non -mentioned destinations in Ukraine.

In response to the massive attacks by the Russian military against goals in neighboring Ukraine, the Polish military rose fighter planes to protect its airspace during the night. NATO allies, who are stationed in Poland, were also used. The country’s entire air defense has been on alert, Polish media reported.
