Do they work in weapons factories? Which missiles, please? Are they piloting tanks?” After the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, Selenskyj recently called for his country to be admitted to the EU, using an urgent procedure. Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also spoke out in favor of this. In an open letter, the governments of several Eastern and Central European countries called for an “immediate prospect of accession” for Ukraine.
