Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj welcomed the heads of government of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia in Kyiv. Late in the evening, Selenskyj published a video on Telegram showing him, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala and his Slovenian colleague Janez Jansa with other participants in a windowless room. “Your visit to Kyiv at this difficult time for Ukraine is a strong sign of support. We really appreciate it.”said Zelenskyy.
The video also shows many journalists waiting in front of the negotiation room. Morawiecki had previously announced on Twitter that he and his colleagues had arrived in Kyiv. “The EU supports Ukraine, which can count on the help of its friends – we brought this message to Kyiv today,” wrote Morawiecki. The Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Schmyhal and the Polish Deputy Jaroslaw Kaczynski were also present at the talks. The politicians from Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovenia traveled to Kyiv by train.
