STORY: According to the climate protection movement Fridays for Future, there were climate protests in over 300 German cities on Friday, like here in Berlin. The demands include an end to the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine and a ban on imports of coal, oil and gas from Russia. Climate activist Luisa Neubauer said on Friday in Berlin: “We are striking today in great solidarity with Ukraine. But we also see that in a war financed by fossil fuels, we all have to talk about fossil fuels. If we want to get away from the autocrats, if we want to protect democracy and freedom and security everywhere.
