1,500 anti-aircraft missiles, 100 machine guns and 8 million rounds of ammunition: More weapons from Germany have arrived in Ukraine.
More weapons from Germany have arrived in Ukraine to fight against the Russian attackers. As the German Press Agency learned from Ukrainian government circles, there are 1,500 “Strela” anti-aircraft missiles and 100 MG3 machine guns.
There are also 8 million rounds of ammunition for handguns. In addition, according to the information, other aid supplies from Germany for the Ukrainian armed forces in the war zone have arrived in addition to the weapons. These include 350,000 food packs, 50 medical transport vehicles and medical supplies.
The Federal Ministry of Defense declined to comment on the information. Deputy government spokeswoman Christiane Hoffmann had previously said that the federal government was no longer publicly commenting on the arms deliveries. Members of the Bundestag could, however, see information about the armaments delivered to Ukraine in the secret protection agency of the parliament.
