If you say the name “Atze”, most Germans already know who is meant. The comedian Atze Schröder has been an integral part of the German entertainment industry for over 20 years. Now came his biography.
A “bulky guy” is Atze Schröder, says co-author and long-time friend Till Hoheneder about the 56-year-old comedian. “That makes life interesting,” Atze replies in episode 246 of “Today Important” and explains that the friendship with Till Hoheneder and the collaboration led him to “go to places where the toothbrush usually doesn’t reach”.

What does Atze Schröder think about climate change?
In his newly published biography “Blue-Eyed: My Life as Atze Schröder”, the comedian, who is otherwise rather closed, allows a deep look into his inner being. But what does Atze Schröder think about the current issues of our time: Ukraine, climate change and of course the past Oscars? Schröder has respect for the President of Ukraine, as he says in an interview with host Michel Abdollahi: “I take my hat off to President Selenskyj. What an ass he has in his pants. Who knows whether we won’t just scoot off would be.”
