War against Ukraine: Zelenskyj: Moscow will end in the same way as the Hitler regime

Ukraine’s President recalls the anti-Hitler coalition in World War II. And promises his compatriots their own parade after the victory over Russia.

Despite the ongoing Russian war of aggression, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has commemorated the 77th anniversary of the anti-Hitler coalition’s victory in World War II.

“Our enemy dreamed that we would not celebrate May 9 and the victory over National Socialism,” said Zelenskyy in a video message. Kyiv will not allow the victory to be claimed by anyone. “Millions of Ukrainians fought against National Socialism and walked a difficult and long path,” emphasized the 44-year-old. More than eight million Ukrainians perished in World War II.

Just as the Red Army liberated Donetsk, Luhansk, Mariupol, Cherson, Melitopol, Berdyansk and the entire Crimean peninsula from the Nazis, the current occupiers would also be expelled, Zelensky said. “On the day of victory over National Socialism, we fight for a new victory,” he emphasized.

“We always fight for ourselves”

The Ukrainians would fight neither for “Dad Tsar” nor for “the Führer”. «We always fight for ourselves. For our freedom. For our independence,” said the head of state.

Moscow will end up just like the Hitler regime, which the Kremlin is copying. “And soon we will have two “Victory Days” in Ukraine,” he said. The Victory Parade will take place on the main street of Kiev, Khreshchatyk.

Two and a half months ago, Russia launched a war of aggression against Ukraine, also under the pretext of “denazification” similar to that of Hitler’s Germany after World War II.
