Bavaria’s Prime Minister Markus Söder doesn’t have it easy these days: 53 percent of the citizens of the Free State are critical of his work.
According to a survey, more than half of the people in Bavaria are dissatisfied with the work of Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU).
In the representative survey by the opinion research institute Civey on behalf of the “Augsburger Allgemeine”, 53 percent of those questioned responded to the question: “How satisfied are you with the work of Prime Minister Markus Söder?”, as the newspaper reported. Accordingly, 35 percent of those surveyed are satisfied with the work of the Bavarian head of government, 12 percent were undecided, as it was also said.
According to the survey, the governing coalition currently has 45 percent, of which 36 percent goes to the CSU and 9 percent to the Free Voters. If a new state parliament were elected on Sunday, the Greens would get 18 percent, the SPD 15 percent, the AfD 8 percent and the FDP 6 percent. With a total of 47 percent, the opposition parties would be in the majority.
