Unvaccinated teachers have to provide an external PCR test in addition to two antigen tests, and three antigen tests are sufficient for vaccinated teachers, according to the Ministry of Education.
The following applies to schoolchildren: In the safety phase, they also test three times regardless of their vaccination status – on Monday they complete an antigen and a PCR test at school, and on Thursday an antigen test. Regional regulations are also possible, such as further PCR instead of antigen tests.
Unvaccinated teachers are not allowed to take “their” PCR test at school. You have to submit a certificate from an external body. On the other hand, they can take the antigen tests at school. Vaccinated persons can pick their nose three times a week at school, or alternatively they can of course bring an external PCR test.
What the test frequency looks like after the safety phase depends on the general risk situation. Unvaccinated teachers should then in any case (as in the safety phase) wear a mask in the classroom and do a PCR test.
