After the meeting of the Council of Ministers this Thursday, Mariana Vieira da Silva spoke to journalists and reported on the decisions taken at the meeting.
According to the Minister of the Presidency, the DGS has informed the Minister of Health, Martha Temido, that the isolation of those infected with Covid-19 should be completed from seven to five dayswhich is expected to come into force soon.
Also, according to the official, it was decided that a digital certificate of vaccination or recovery is no longer required to enter Portugal.
Another measure put forward by the Council of Ministers was an increase of 10 euros in the minimum pension.
Also, according to Mariana Vieira da Silva, the temporary mechanism extraordinary professional diesel support for the transport of heavy goods at 17 cents per liter for two months with a total cost of 18.5 million euros.
The official also clarified that Pedro Nuno Santos was not present at the Council of Ministers meeting and that “he was replaced” by Secretary of State for Infrastructure Jorge Delgado, but declined to comment on the controversy with the prime minister. “This Thursday, a statement on this matter was published,” the minister recalled, refusing to answer questions from journalists and citing the reaction of António Costa.
