“It’s terrible, really terrible. So what I think as an Afghan or an Afghan at the time, now a German: The cheapest thing there is is an Afghan’s life at the moment. What the world is playing with us, I don’t know, it’s a terrible one Game in Afghanistan. “
The passenger thanked the federal government for the rescue, but also complained about a lack of information.

“I think the information from the Foreign Ministry and the Foreign Office is not enough. I started contacting three or four days ago, wrote seven, eight e-mails. At least you could tell me: Please wait. That I hope that I’m not lost, that I still have my contact. But they didn’t do that. I’m sorry. “
A total of around 500 people were on board the two chartered planes from Lufthansa and Uzbekistan Airways. The machines had started in the Uzbek capital Tashkent, where the Bundeswehr had previously brought the people from the Afghan capital Kabul. More flights from Tashkent were expected in Frankfurt on Thursday.
