The Swedish prime minister expressed regret this Wednesday at the actions of left-wing MPs who displayed the flags of the Kurdish PKK and YPG, and when Turkey again demanded the extradition of “terrorists” from Sweden and Finland.
“RPK [Partido dos Trabalhadores do Curdistão, a rebelião curda da Turquia] is on the list of terrorist organizations not only in Sweden, but also in the European Union, and flying this flag is extremely inappropriate,” Magdalena Andersson told the TT news agency, as well as how Stockholm is trying to please Turkey so that it joins NATO.
Last Tuesday, Finland and Sweden signed an agreement with Turkey, providing for the immediate lifting of Ankara’s veto on the entry of the two Scandinavian countries into the Western military alliance.
