Territorial Unity Minister Ana Abruñosa said this Wednesday that she respects the opinion of new PSD leader Luis Montenegro regarding regionalization, but stressed that the government is now focused on decentralization.
“I listened to the statements of the new PSD President with great respect, obviously respecting his opinion, but I also want to convey that decentralization is the main focus of the government at the moment,” said Ana Abruñosa.
The minister, speaking on the sidelines of the 57th edition of the Capital do Móvel, an event organized by the Association empresario de Pacos de Ferreira (AEPF) and taking place in Lisbon, thus commented on the position of Luis Montenegro, who on Tuesday extended his objection to the referendum on regionalization.
