According to the weekly report of the Instituto Nacional de Saúde Doutor Ricardo Jorge (INSA) on the development of the pandemic, the average number of daily cases of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection in five days has decreased from 11,166 to 10,080 to 10,080, the national level, slightly lower on the mainland (9429).

As the World Health Organization (WHO) announced today, global infections have increased for the fourth consecutive week, following a downward trend since the last peak of infections in March.
