An audio recording attributed to an Angolan government official circulated on the social network WhatsApp shows that José Eduardo dos Santos’ daughter, Isabel, removed all the furniture from the ex-Angola president’s palatial home in Barcelona, Spain.
“Isabelle [dos Santos] in the house he bought in 2019, he took everything: armchairs, decorations, the bed on which his father slept … Everything, everything, ”the employee said in a voice message addressed to an unidentified “boss”.
In the same message cited by Jornal de Negócios, the aforementioned official also reports on the state of health of Eduardo dos Santos, referring to the fact that “all hope is lost” regarding the recovery of predecessor João Lourenço.
According to the report, “we are just waiting” for Luis dos Santos, the son of Eduardo dos Santos, who will arrive in the Catalan capital to decide what to do with the former president of Angola.
