Russian war of aggression: Putin: Haven’t even started in Ukraine yet

A Russian defeat on the battlefield in Ukraine? Apparently unthinkable for President Putin. The Kremlin chief brushes aside doubts and issues warnings.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned the West against a military confrontation against the background of the Ukraine war.

«Today we hear that they want to beat us on the battlefield. What can I say? Let them just try, »he said in Moscow. Everyone should know that Russia hasn’t really started in Ukraine yet.

Moscow does not reject peace negotiations. “But those who refuse should know that the further they go, the more difficult it is for them to come to an agreement with us,” Putin said at a meeting with faction leaders of the State Duma parties.

The President praised the politicians as “real statesmen and patriots” who had supported the “military special operation” in Ukraine from the beginning at the end of February. “There are many parties, but only one homeland,” Putin said at the meeting in the Kremlin. “There is nothing more important than the fate of the fatherland.”

Putin again accused the West of wanting to fight “to the last Ukrainian”. “This is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people.” The West is waging an “economic blitzkrieg against Russia”.
