The daughter of former Angolan President Chise dos Santos this Friday accused the current head of state of Angola of trying to defeat the family by publicizing the death of José Eduardo dos Santos and announcing the funeral.
In a voice message sent to reporters, Chise dos Santos addressed directly the incumbent President of the Republic and asked: “Who are you to my father? Are you the eldest son? Invite me to my own father’s funeral?”
With several criticisms of the head of state, Chise dos Santos especially condemns the disclosure of his father’s death, saying: “I still did not know that my father had died and you already published the death of my father, who gave you the mandate to disclose without my knowledge ? Who gave you the mandate to decide who should or should not go to the funeral?
