Two young French men, both aged 19, were arrested early Thursday morning after brutally beating a 25-year-old Portuguese outside the Momé nightclub in Lisbon. The site of the aggression is very close to where PSP agent Fabio Guerra was beaten, sustaining injuries that later caused his death.
This was reported by a police source. CM that the victim was attacked around 5:30 am while waiting for an Uber with a friend.
The 25-year-old man realized that the two young French men were involved in an altercation with another group and stepped in to make things right.
It was then that he was brutally attacked. While a young Frenchman was choking him from behind, another was punching and kicking him.
The duo eventually escaped but were apprehended by a PSP near a nightclub.
O CM contacted the PSP Lisbon Command to inquire about the enforcement measures being taken against youth, but have not yet received a response.
The wounded man, in turn, was taken to the San José hospital. He has a broken nose bone, both eyes and one ear are damaged.
